More about the only player to make it from Class E to the majors

Last month I had a post about the baseball career of Ernie Rudolph, the only player ever to jump from Class E to the majors.  You didn’t know there was a Class E in minor league baseball?  You’re not alone.  Anyway, since my original post I’ve been put in contact with Ernie’s son, who’s been finding more information about his father’s career and sharing it with me.  I’ve added considerably to that original post, so if you saw it before, it’s worth checking again.
